Our courses have always met the Legislation Requirements and therefore meet the current requirements proposed by the EWRB for Practicing License Renewal.
This covers the 2011 Electricity Safety Regulations and require that you attend a refresher course every two years to qualify for a Practicing License.
NOTE:
It is now necessary that you complete the EWRB online assessment prior to attending your competency training.
- Please go to EWRB online where you will need to set up a new Login and complete the assessment.
- Bring the printed slip to your next course
- Courses limited to 20 persons maximum
- Courses attended now are valid for 24 months.
- Competency assessment now part of these courses.
If we are not running a course in your area at a time which is suitable for you or your organisation, we will consider putting on a special course for you if you can arrange sufficient numbers (10 minimum) to attend. We also run in-house courses (we will come to your company premises).
All courses include instruction on:
- Safe Working Practices
- Testing to Ensure Safety
- Basic First Aid
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Courses are currently four hours and include a tea coffee and a biscuit during a short break. A certificate will be issued, following satisfactory completion of the course. Please bring your Registration Number to the course.
Cost: $230.00 including GST (per person) Payment required via Direct Credit at time of booking to confirm your attendance.

Conditions:
- If you have booked and paid, and don’t turn up for your course, you will forfeit your fee.
- The exception to this is if you’re genuinely ill and advise us before the course starts.
- Change of date requires a minimum of 72 hours notice.
